I hope you all had a beautiful Beltane celebration!
I posted about my day yesterday, but just popping in to share my 3-card Beltane tarot reading, which I did after yesterday’s ritual.
- Winter – the recent past – Death, a time of letting go, transformation and re-birth. And personally this has been a process for me over the past couple of years. A lot of (actual) death (physical as in people I know dying), but also a lot of smaller personal ego deaths and transformation. A lot of shedding old patterns and beliefs. A lot of mourning. Death isn’t something to fear, Death brings so much growth and clarity.
- Now we have arrived at Springtime – The Star, a card of renewal, of fresh hope and inner clarity. Now I don’t know about you, but I haven’t been feeling so fresh and clear. And my hopes for a lot of people are at a low. I am disappointed in how easily people accept a narrative and let themselves be grounded and the worst thing is people policing each other, this breaks my heart. But I am regaining my clarity and focus by the day, I feel a strong inner shift taking place. I feel more and more strengthened on my path. I finally have allowed my anger to surface and this has fueled me greatly and also burned away all the distraction. I am here to broaden my perspective, to learn, to expand and strangely enough in this lock-down I feel so much growth and a sense of inner freedom. So yes perhaps this card isn’t so strange and I do feel there is hope, hope as in us taking action, not hope and waiting to be saved. We will not be saved, we have to save ourselves!
- Summer, the future, The Lovers ask for the balance of two together, partnership. And yes we don’t exist in a vacuum, we are in this together and we can take back our own personal power together. But we have a choice to make. The Lovers is about choice. WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE IN THIS LIFE?
I hope this inspires you.
Be well and stay strong.
