& happy new birth year to me
Happy birthday to me! I celebrated my 44th birthday last Wednesday on the 25th.
Thank you all for the many many birthday wishes!!! You make my day! Thank you! Apologies if I haven’t replied in person – it has been quite busy at the office.
This was a bit of a bittersweet day as this was the last day working here, at this place. So goodbye Amsterdam city centre and hello Sloterdijk…New location, new energy, new chances! Focusing on the positive outcome of this move 😉 onwards and upwards… So today packing the last things and sneezing dust balls.
I have looked at the energy for myself the coming birth year and it indicates that this year is about vision and about engaging in manifestation. My theme this year is: “Being able to connect opposites by acceptance and thereby letting go of my inner resistance to change”.
So thank you for the well wishes, warms my heart.

September 28th – New Moon in Libra
The New Moon tomorrow will be in Libra and as my Sun sign is Libra with ascendent Libra (and Pluto in Libra), I know this energy well. And even if you don’t have Libra in your chart, you will also feel her influence this New Moon. Libra is on a quest for balance, always trying to find that perfect middle ground, that equilibrium and it is a hard balancing act at times, so I have learned to take it slowly, one foot at a time on the tightrope towards…. well towards opportunity and choice, towards freedom. The key is not to focus on the rope, but look up and keep your eye on where you want to go.
Relationships are in the spotlight this New Moon. Venus, goddess of love, beauty and creativity, is in her home sign. This is a time to look more closely at your relationships, your role in them and perhaps old wounds that are influencing your connections with others still at this present day. This is an opportunity to focus on more beauty and harmony in your life, a time to socialize and balance relationships. This is time to build bridges between people. Even if it is just a tight rope to start with, start walking and meet others half way.
Plant a seed of intention how you can make your life more beautiful which is more connect to yourself and others.
But as a Libra I know a lesson to take into account is not to get lost in other people. Focussing on others and losing one’s own identity and compromising instead of speaking up where needed. Ask yourself if you are spending all your time tending to your work relationships or are there other areas of life that could use your love and attention? Don’t be a door mat! You matter, you as your authentic you, not an image or mask you hold up. Libra sees right through fakeness as Libra also represents justice, standing for the truth to be seen and heard as Libra shines a light on that what is just and true.
Connect with yourself, walk in nature and find your true voice and in speaking your truth, find your authentic connection in others. Seek meaningful relationships and let go of people that restrict you and if you are restricting yourself, work on connecting with to your heart and who you truly are and what your needs are. You can’t authentically connect to others if you don’t feel free within yourself. Free to be who you are and able to express without the fear of being shunned. Libra’s greatest fear is to be disconnected, but be brave and know that when you are your true self, you will find people that love you exactly for who you are.
So where do you need to reach out and connect? How can you forgive and forget? As we move into Autumn, let’s slow down and seek meaningful relationships.
