Hello dear you!
How have you been? Am feeling a great need to connect with you this morning so I decided to record this ChaChaChat en Tarot Time for you. I am planning to do weekly videos again. I took a little time out as life has been really busy and needed to balance my energy (outward vs inward). I will share when I feel inspired and rested. When I feel clear.
So I had a lovely week. Things are slowing down. I celebrated Lammas, did a ritual and I love the magick that is in the air right now. Fall is in the air, the light is different, the air smells different, and even though it is still very warm, there is a cool crispness in the breeze. The whispers of spirit are becoming louder and all is just slowing down. I feel giddy and excited, but also a bit ominous like something big is about to happen.
Anyway I visited a friend in The Hague on Friday and we went to see the beautiful Art Nouveau exhibition in Gemeentemuseum + Beach Life – The Hague School and Scheveningen. We had a lovely lunch outside and then went to the Photography Museum. I really enjoyed the Jan Bannink retrospective, well enjoyed and also moved me and made me think about life. https://www.fotomuseumdenhaag.nl/en/exhibitions/jan-banning
Yesterday I didn’t attend the Canal Parade in Amsterdam (as I work for Aidsfonds) as there is way too much energy in the city for me (even though on this day it is very festive and loving). It is too crowded as is, but with the Canal Parade (and days like Kings Day) it is just too much for me, too much input. So I stay at home. Part of me feels “not fun enough” for not being able to attend big events (anymore), but most of me loves the sensitive soul that resides in me and I respect my energy above all. In the past I didn’t respect my boundaries, those days are thankfully over.
Today I visited (this video (below) was recorded this morning) the cemetery De Nieuwe Ooster with my cousin for a walk through the arboretum with a guide teaching us about the trees growing there. It was lovely and interesting to hear the stories about the trees there. But also a bit sad to see them “suffering” in this dry weather. A lot of trees will be lost. It was also lovely catching up with my cousin.
Hope you had a wonderful week and feel you are ready to step through the Lion’s Gate Portal this week. To help us make the most of these energies I decided to do a tarot reading to give us insights and guidance. I hope you enjoy the video and your feedback, insights, comments, etc. are welcome. You are welcome!
Thank you for watching! Love Charissa xxx
